Unless you are a super hero, invisible or a ghost, you are not getting into the facility undetected!

Here is a list of goods you are prohibited to store:-

1. Living things such as animals, insects and plants
2. Hazardous materials such as flammable liquids and explosives, bio-agents, radioactive materials, asbestos or other harmful substances or materials. If unsure please check with us.
3. Perishable items that could decompose such as organic foodstuffs and plants – INCLUDING TINS, CANS, BOTTLES, DRINKS
4. Unauthorised or illegal goods such as drugs or firearms
5. Our storage units are purely designed for use as storage, our rooms are not suitable for offices or work premises. However, some of our stores have office space available, so check with your local self store.

It is a space for you to keep items safe & secure when they are not in use. You control your access and can come and go as needed during your prescribed hours. Zelf Storage has spaces from 3sqft (square feet) lockers to 200sqft (square feet) mini warehouses. We can store for business, household, ancillary, charity, whatever the need Zelf Storage can provide you with the storage space you need and at a competitive price too.

The price includes VAT and is chargeable monthly. Prices do fluctuate daily but if you reserve a storage unit then your price will be held for move-in. You won’t need any padlocks in our ‘unmanned storage facilities’ as all the access is done on a smart phone or keyfob. You must have your goods insured whilst in storage, we have made this easy by giving you an option to purchase the insurance through us, but if you prefer you can obtain your own insurance, we will just need to see proof of it.

We invoice on a calendar month basis in advance at the start of that month for the storage unit.  Should you move-out part way through a month we will refund the unused portion subject to our minimum period.

For example: if you move-in on the 15th February then we would charge you on the 15th February for the month up until 15th March. We would then charge you on 15th March for the month until 15th April and so on.

Payment is done on credit or debit card and taken monthly automatically through our gateway by ‘tokenisation’ of your card details. Businesses can be set up on a Direct Debit.

Yes, we often have special deals on such as £1 per week for a certain initial period, 50% off for an initial period etc…

With the CEO of Zelf Storage being ex-military he has an appreciation for our emergency workers and armed forces so he offers a 10% discount for armed forces and blue light. Please just send your valid ID in to the depot email address which can be found on the location page and we will apply a 10% discount to your rental.

We operate a minimum 14 day period, you can of course move-out 1 day after move-in, it is just that we charge for a minimum 14 days.

We ask for 7 days notice to vacate.

You MUST either submit your request to terminate through your login or email us info@zelfstorage.co.uk stating:-

• Date you wish to have your storage unit empty by i.e. 1/1/25
• Storage unit number/s i.e. 101, 102
• Storage location i.e Warminster

Yes you can, there is a reservation/deposit fee equal to 50% of the monthly rental to this, this reservation/deposit fee is credited back to you on move-in. We can hold reservations for 7 days

Your rights to cancel
You can cancel the reservation at any time during the 7 days for a full refund. You will need to sign the Licence and start paying rent before the 7th day is up to keep your storage unit.

You can reserve a storage unit for 7 days with a reservation/deposit fee. After that the self-storage container reservation is automatically released from reserved status and any reservation/deposit fee will be forfeited. To guarantee a unit after the 7 days reservation you will need to rent the self store unit as normal.

Yes, you can move-in right away! you just need to have:-

1. completed the ID verification
2. signed the online contract
3. taken out our insurance or provided proof of your own insurance and had that verified

Yes, this can be done through your log-in area on our website or give us a call and we can sort this. When transferring units you often need both units at the same time but we will always work out a deal for you to help with this process.

Each of our stores have links with local trusted removals companies and can help organise this for you. We have trolleys available on site to help you move your goods.
