Great thing about us is you can use us for just a few weeks, of a few months, sometimes even a few years. There is no fixed contracts, simply pay as you go with a 14 days notice period.
You can store anything!
Well within reason…. You obviously can not store yourself in the self storage units… although over 20 years experience has seen many scenarios such as this.
You can store TVs, sofas, mattresses, garden items…even the kitchen sink. There are however some items that must not be stored, for example; Perishable items like food and drink even if in tins or bottles, illegal goods, explosives and fuels for obvious reasons to name a few. Looking to protect your furniture?
Take a look at our disposable mattress covers, sofa covers and armchair covers in our Box Shop. A few pounds spent on these could save the hassle and cost of cleaning such items, After all you pay money to store them you may as well make sure they are well looked after not only whilst in store but on the journey to and from. We believe any upholstered items such as if you are storing sofa’s, storing mattresses, storing 3-piece-suits or indeed an upholstered furniture be sure to look at disposable covers.

Insurance
Insurance must be in place to cover all the goods whilst they are in self store with Zelf Storage. You can arrange this yourself or we can provide cover through our underwriters to cover the items. As standard, we organise cover on the goods on your move-in. If you do already have an existing policy that covers you or purchase your policy elsewhere simply email us the policy and certificate after move-in and we will refund unused days and cancel the remaining policy (subject to no claims).
